My personal suggestion MEP is the best choice for mechanical engineers. Why means this field can provide good knowledge, good income, job satisfaction etc..
So you can learn AutoCAD for 2D and Revit MEP for 3d services.
My suggestion wherever you go, you need proper knowledge about the services. This MEP field not enough your diploma or engineering degree apart from that you should learn some project oriented value added courses or professional courses. then only you will getting job easily.
If you not having knowledge may be you will get job from reference. but end of the day you will feel for that your technically capable or not. That’s why you can choose right training centre with project oriented content. Suppose if your not willing to join any training centre you can learn this Hvac or MEP system via internship also.
